Highly carbonated and light bodied with slight corn sweetness, and background citrusy hops. This is our play on a beer very popular to this area.
Acronym #2 - American Pale Ale 5.25%
Brewed with one malt variety (Vienna) and one hop variety (Centennial) this SMASH (Acronym…get it) beer has toasty malt in the background with grapefruit and grapefruit rind of Centennial hops taking the lead.
Eszett – German Weissbier 5.5%
A refreshing wheat beer with moderate ripe banana and slight clove character to pair with bready malt. A highly carbonated beer with a fluffy mouthfeel. Named after the strong “s” in the German language, that character that looks like a capital “B”.

A refreshing wheat beer with moderate ripe banana and slight clove character to pair with a bready malt. A highly carbonated beer with a fluffy mouthfeel. This variant includes 10 lbs of fresh tree ripened Eckert’s peaches per barrel of beer.
Lawrence – German Pilsner 5.5%
Named after Bryan’s father, Larry, this crisp, clean, and refreshing beer is made the hard-headed German way and highlights German Pilsner malt, German floral and spicy hops (Mittlefruh and Hersbrucker), and German yeast. This slight tribute can’t begin to repay Larry for everything he has done to build Millpond!
Beauty in the Weeds – American IPA 6.2%
Hops are often called the wicked weed, named after a song from one of our favorite bands, this hop forward beer gives you no choice but to “find beauty not in the bloom, but in the weeds.” With bright citrus, piney, dank, grapefruit, and lemony hop character this version leans toward the left coast.
Pete Zump – NE Pale Ale 6.6%
When we were kids, and we would see our dad (Larry) have a conversation with a stranger, we would ask, “dad, who was that?” occasionally he wouldn’t remember, so his reply was “Pete Zump” (plus other names soon to follow in this series). This New England Pale Ale has strong juicy, tropical, passion fruit, papaya, mango, and tangerine characteristic from the Azacca and Mandarina Bavaria hops.
Valued Rug – American Stout 6.8%
Jet black, with a mousy tan head this fairly strong stout has roasted malt flavors with slight coffee, bittersweet chocolate, black currant hop characteristics, and assertive bitterness.

Bridge Lane – Munich Helles 5.7%
The recipe of Joe Orsa and Dave Rausch, the original Millstadt homebrewers, this golden lager has a smooth grainy-sweet malt flavor, floral hop character with restrained bitterness keep the balance toward the malt, but not sweet. Refreshing, soft, and crisp.
